Aerosmith - amerykański kwintet rockowy grający hard rocka i łagodniejszą odmianę heavy metal. Grupa, powstała w 1970, wzorowała się na brytyjskim rocku, głównie czerpiąc swe inspiracje z muzyki The Rolling Stones, The Who i Led Zeppelin. Wkrótce po wydaniu pierwszej płyty, z której pochodzi jeden z największych przebojów grupy Dream On, grupa stała się jednym z najpopularniejszych zespołów rockowych Ameryki, wkrótce także zdobywając międzynarodową sławę. Zespół zdołał utrzymać popularność przez następne trzydzieści lat regularnie wydając albumy oraz koncertując. W 1978 Aerosmith wzięła udział w filmie Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, w którym wykonała cover piosenki The Beatles Come Together, który też wszedł na stałe do jej repertuaru.
